These websites introduce AltaPost software. The local examples and notes require no account or submission of personal details.
Hosting requests
The hosting server processes connection data needed to serve a page, such as IP address, request time, requested path and browser information. Hosting access and error logs may be used for security and troubleshooting. The hosting retention period is not specified on these pages.
Privacy-conscious visitor statistics
We use self-hosted Plausible at stat.alta.nz for aggregate statistics about pageviews, referrals, campaigns, approximate locations, browsers, devices and page engagement. Your browser sends the page address, referrer and connection metadata. Plausible temporarily processes IP address and browser information to derive a daily visitor identifier; raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database. Analytics uses no cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Form contents, self-assessment answers and local notes are not sent as events or properties. These pages have no advertising or social media trackers.
Interactive examples and local notes
The walkthrough uses fictional data. Self-assessment answers and workflow notes are processed only in browser memory. Forms do not submit information to the project owner. A download saves a text file on your device. The application does not restore entered data after a reload.
